MEXICAN REVOLUTION

Beginning in 1910, the Mexican Revolution was a complex and violent period of social and political upheaval. It started as a rebellion against the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz, but quickly became a fight for land reform, workers’ rights, and democratic reforms. Leaders like Emiliano Zapata and Pancho Villa played key roles. The revolution led to major changes in Mexico, including a new constitution in 1917.
